Job Requirement

KBR is looking for an Engineering Manager with Gas Processing/ Gas Compression experience to be based in Abu Dhabi and for a PMC project.

Experience required:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering is a must.
- Should have a minimum of 20+ years of experience in oil & gas industry.
- Experience in Gas Processing Plants (gas compression, sweetening, dehydration, NGL recovery, utilities) is a must.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- FEED experience is a must.
- Lead the engineering group during Project phases in a manner that achieves a sound design meeting requirements set out in the Contract within the cost and schedule targets set by company.
- Managing team of multidiscipline Leads, Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers.
- Ensure that all actions, works and services undertaken by Contractor/Consultant are in accordance with the respective Agreement with Company.
- Ensure compliance with Company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by Company from time to time.

Requirements

- Review responses to technical queries from Contractor/ Consultant and others.
- Evaluate engineering execution portions of technical bid submissions
- Participate in the technical bid evaluation.
- Ensure that cost effective solutions in engineering design are adopted while maintaining quality, constructability, operability and maintainability
- Avoid / minimize the variations from Contractor/Consultant by taking proactive/preventive actions.
- Review and approve requests for Design Deviations / Concession Requests proposed.
- Review and approve technical content of variation order in the Project Contract.
- PMC experience is an added advantage
- Middle East experience required
