Position Title: English Language Department Head
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up 17K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and tuition fee discount up to 3 children
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Client:
A private co-educational K-12 day school in Abu Dhabi

Job Description:
- Serve as directors of curriculum and instruction in the department of their specialized subject
- Improve the quality of education in its various aspects such as curriculum development, instructional planning and implementation, assessment, professional development, and educational resources
- Take part in the recruitment process as requested by the Principal by conducting interviews for candidates that focus on pedagogical content knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Open to Native English speakers
- 45 years old and below
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Arts with specialization in English language or any related degree
- At least 5 years of teaching experience preferably with an extensive experience in leadership role
- Must have a Teaching diploma
- Must have an IELTS with minimum score of 6 or equivalent
- Must be available to join by August 2023
- Open to home country experience
