Job description / Role
Our client is hiring teachers for Environmental Health & Public Safety Vocational programs to create effective and stimulating learner-centered opportunities for learning through high quality instruction that enables the development and progression of all students. To have enthusiasm for the subject matter that inspires others to have a lifelong love of learning and the motivation, skills and attitudes to be productive citizens contributing positively to the development of the country.
- Teach and assess competencies in a range of Environmental Health & Public Safety related areas
- Manage the online teaching and learning using apps like MS Teams, Zoom, google docs,etc.
- Develop and share curriculum, teaching methods and resources
- Provide multiple explanations and instructional strategies so that all students learn and can present the content to students in challenging, clear, and compelling ways, using real-world contexts and integrating technologyappropriately
- Advise and assist students to develop their educational and career plans
- Understand all roles and functions in industry and specifically in their particular skills sector
- Transfer skills and knowledge to students that can be applied directly in the workplace
- Manage, teach, train, guide and assess students in the workplace and in the classroom
- Mentor and guide students in their chosen career
- Implement and evaluate high quality education and training programs
- Invigilation activities
- Support and contribute to internal and external corporate events, meetings for the promotion and development of Strategic Plan
- Organizing and participation in student events and extra-curricular activities
- Health and Safety of students and the classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health or Public Safety from the UK, US, CA, IR, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries preferred
- Master Degree in above related Subjects preferred
- Teaching Qualification an asset
- Industry Certifications an asset
- Assessor or Internal Verifier Certifications an asset
Requirements
Required Experience:
- 3 Years of teaching, training, assessing experience in a reputable Vocational or Higher Education Institute
- Familiarity with Internal Verification and Assessment processes
- Skills in ICT for learning
- Industry experience an asset
- Experience in GCC or similar location an asset
Monthly Salary Range:
- TAX FREE Monthly Salary is AED 13,694
Housing:
- Housing allowance: AED 8,320 to 13,000 per month (depends on the campus location and marital status)
- First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite until accommodation is found. Help is provided to find accommodation
Health Insurance Coverage:
- Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
Annual Air Tickets:
- Annual Return Air Fare based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
- Relocation Allowance of 20,000 AED Half given upon arrival and half at the end of 6 month probation period
Leave:
- In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year
Dependant School Fees:
- Tuition fees for up to 3 dependents as follows: 80,000 AED per family is payable (max of 40,000 AED per child) to cover fees, books, exams, registration, uniform, transport when attending school in the UAE
Visa & Medical Check Fees:
- VISA fees and Medical check done in the UAE are paid for by the school for Employee only
End Of Service Benefit:
- Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country
Contract Period:
- Open Contract - renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:
- Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
