Position Title: Estimation Engineer
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 5K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Sharjah, UAE
About the Client:
The hiring company is fabricating, painting, and erecting structural steel and plate fabricator for industrial plants or commercial building projects.
Job Role:
- Prepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
- Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
- Prepares draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included.
- Interprets and reviews system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
- Reviews the design outputs for compliance with contractual requirement.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Open to Indian, Filipino, and Pakistani candidates
- Male, 50 years old and below
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering
- At least 5 years of UAE experience as an Estimation Engineer
- Must have steel fabrication and erection industry experience
- Skilled in tender documentation management, inhouse and client interfacing, and team player
- Excellent pricing and market knowledge is required
