Estimation Engineer - Ventilation Fans

Job description / Role

- Selection of Fans, analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the requirements for ventilation fans.
- Calculate the size, capacity and power requirements of ventilation fans based on project specifications.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for ventilation fans, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for ventilation fans.
- Review and evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors for ventilation fans.
- Create detailed technical specifications and drawings for ventilation fan installations.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating ventilation fans for construction projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to ventilation systems.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately calculate fan capacities and power requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions for ventilation fan installations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
