Estimator - Interior Fitouts / Joinery
Salary: up to AED 17,000 based on Experience
Location: Dubai
Our Client is one of the leaders in Interior Design, Manufacturing and Contracting in the UAE.
Established more that 30 years ago, they are well known in the market for high quality iconic projects and a vast portfolio, providing a turnkey service tailor made to their clients expectations.
Due to their continuous growth in the Middle Eastern Market we are seeking a highly talented and experienced Estimator to join the team.
Responsibilities
• Review preliminary plans, specs and drawings etc. to determine scope of works
• Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities and /or cost plans
• Review and comparison of subcontractor pricing
• Ensure the most competitive pricing and accurate bids Essential criteria
• Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tenders
• Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme
• Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholders
• Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing
• Regular meetings with subcontractors throughout the tender period
Requirements
• Construction or Architectural relevant qualification
• Minimum of 3 years estimating or relevant experience
• Working knowledge of Estimating Software such as Cost X, Excel, Cubit, and / or Data Build
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
