Job description / Role
This will be a busy role, working from the very beginning of operations with this new trading entity in the heart of DMCC. Supporting a very dynamic and well regarded individual, your role as the Executive Assistant will be to provide a full spectrum of senior level and seamless support to him and assist with all the corporate operational set-up of the business. This is a highly corporate position, where we are seeking EA’s who have been intrinsically involved in start-up and entrepreneurial business operations and can work in progressive structures and understand the hand’s on nature of these environments.
The role is based in prestigious offices in the award winning DMCC Free Zone. The role is dual faceted and includes liaison with the DMCC authorities over licensing and HR processes and procedures, responsibility for fit-out and putting together full office operational procedures and liaison with suppliers and contractors. Additionally, there will be full Executive Assistant support to the Founder and CEO in the form of extensive outlook calendar management and travel requirements, stakeholder management and engagement, strategic assistance and corporate documentation and correspondence. This will also extend to supporting other team members as they are on boarded. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and will be required to prepare executive reports and proposals; collating research and data with liaison with external providers.
Candidates shortlisted will need to commercially aware and very forward thinking. This is not a role for a process driven individual, but rather someone who can be entirely proactive and manage themselves in an environment which will be evolving as the business develops. Common sense is key; prioritization is very important and we are looking for professionalism, confidentiality and discretion to be demonstrated.
Experience within the DMCC would be beneficial and candidates should be able to build effective relationships. You will have a very flexible attitude, showing initiative and a problem solving approach. Candidates will ideally have a strong background from within a professional services / investment banking/ trading environment and who are used to a fast pace. We are looking for clear commitment and stability from previous roles and demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders.
