We are seeking a high caliber Executive Assistant to support this interesting and highly regarded individual and as this is an extremely involved, pivotal and high profile role, it requires an individual capable of working across multiple businesses and over several time zones as well as managing personal aspects of the Chairman’s life. Key responsibilities will include complex and ever-changing diary management, complicated travel itineraries, document production, specific project management and some personal administration; a challenging role with a high level of international client and VIP liaison, ad hoc project management and events management.
Essential qualities for this position include excellent computer knowledge; the ability to prioritise and organise both your own and the Chairman’s workload; first class communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative. You will carry out a number of functions, from arranging travel itineraries and meetings, to working on specific projects where you will be able to demonstrate your ability to multitask and work autonomously. Due to the nature of the business, our client is looking for a mature, discreet individual who has complete respect for the confidential and sensitive nature of the role. A strong worth ethic, a professional, calm and discreet manner, together with a high standard of personal presentation are also key attributes for the position. A meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to stay calm in busy circumstances are also paramount.
Candidates must have worked in the UAE for a minimum of three years and supported a senior high profile executive. Highly polished and professional, you will always be one step ahead, able to multi task and work independently. Excellent computer skills are a must, with advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel essential. Exceptional language skills in both spoken and written English are also required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a calm demeanor, meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational ability. We are looking for someone with strong linguistic skills in Arabic and English and preferably from the Levant region. Our client is also looking for a strong Western education or work experience with a stable, consistent career history reflected on their CV.
