In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance team, As AP Experienced Associate, you will be effectively responsible for the processing of invoices and payment. The ideal candidate will not only bring financial expertise, but also a passion for applying the latest technology to drive efficiency and solve problems.

During your tenure as an Accounts Payable Experienced Associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

- Competent to oversee AP operations on their own and lead various improvement activities over the course of time
- Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
- Responsible for the processing of vendor invoices in system and ensure appropriate approval is obtained in accordance with the approval matrix
- Prepare vendor payments as per payment cycles and follow up with bank approvers on pending approvals
- Be a go to person for any AP related issues
- To ensure periodical vendor reconciliations and balance confirmations are available
- Monitor invoice flow and ensure excellent accounting quality
- Support resolving process challenges and exceptions, initiate improvement projects, and drive continuous enhancements in the process
- Oversee and get involved in the creation of work instructions and guidelines for AP Team; continually monitor, update and communicate observations and actions to be undertaken
- Maintain successful working relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

- All finance modules are on Microsoft Dynamics so the individual should be aware of ERP/ Dynamics usage
- Based in Dubai - UAE
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of VAT/Tax based economy and systems is essential
- Background in: Accounts Payables, Depreciation of fixed Assets, Vendor Reconciliation, Auditing, ICV, Bank Reconciliation, Prepaids and Accruals
- 3- 4 years of relevant experience ideally in a professional services firm
- Able to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationships
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Packages. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word in particular
- Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting policies (2+ years of experience in finance/controlling or similar role)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Accounting qualification is a plus
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; Arabic preferred
- Open mind with cultural sensitivity; well-structured and self-driven work approach
- Strong communication and partnering skills with people from all levels of the company
