Express Operations Partner

Job description / Role

Emirates SkyCargo is a world-class air cargo carrier, with a vast network of destinations, cutting-edge facilities, and a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.

Express Operations Partner will identify, select and manage external operational partners for the Express project across a number of countries. You will drive operational excellence and compliance with assigned external operational partners, while ensuring maximum value is extracted from partnerships and customer satisfaction is achieved.

In this role, you will:

- Manage and provide support to external operational partners and ensure partner agreements are constantly evolving to enhance service proposition
- Manage service concerns and issues (i.e. service failures, accounting and reconciliation issues) in a timely way, focusing on customer needs.
- Understand market trends and have constant inputs into how to enhance operational processes, driving improvements with the wider Express team. Become involved in project work relating to this.
- Collaborate closely with Express Commercial Partner to drive maximum value out of partnerships, including involvement in contract negotiations and agreeing reasonable Service Level Agreements.
- Coordinate training and development activities for external operational partners, ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver on their requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience in Express operations management, vendor management and vendor performance management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and numerical skills with ability to create financial; business cases
- Proven experience with legal contracting with partners/clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, with ability to assertively manage internal and external stakeholders.
