Job Purpose

Lead and manage the External Communications activities to deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness, producing online content (intranet and internet), generating ideas for new content types. Bring strategy and brand to life through storytelling. Researching and organizing facts and sources, interviewing sources. Researching markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original. Manage the provision of a comprehensive range of services, including overseeing the content of Communication materials and preparation of Company publications to meet company's requirements aiming at promoting a favorable image for the company.

Key Accountabilities
- Plan and organize media gatherings, forums and press conferences for special exhibitions and events in coordination with the ADNOC Group of Companies to meet the Company's objectives.
- Monitor and coordinate with local and international media on content published about the company in various media channels to ensure clarity, quality and alignment with Company guidelines and approvals.
- Provide professional advice on technical and financial aspects on printing company publications to support the projection of a favourable corporate image for the company.
- Drive message alignment across external and internal audiences in collaboration with Internal Communications Lead
- Bring strategy and brand to life through storytelling. Corporate communications or agency storytelling experience preferred.
- Must be adept at writing across multiple platforms and for multiple stakeholders while aligning with the strategic narrative. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).

Job Specific Accountabilities
- Proficiency researching topics using various methods. Researching and organizing facts and sources, interviewing sources. Researching markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original.
- Deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness, producing online content, generating ideas for new content types, creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
- Generate video content (brief and talking points)
- Proofread content before publication
- Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with team for new ideas and strategies
- Collaborating with campaign managers, creative teams and designers

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in journalism, media, communications.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- At least 15 years of professional experience in progressive and more senior-level roles in External communications. Preferably experience in a large-scale organization with complex business operations or experience working in various industries. At least 5 years in a managerial / supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of corporate communication strategy development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of public relations strategy development and implementation, and ability to devise strategies that drive business results.
- Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working and lead change.
- Strong knowledge of reputation management techniques and concepts.
- Knowledge of the Group's operations and various sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored corporate communication strategies in line with specific business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
