Job description / Role

• Provide fine dining 5-star food and beverage serving and maintaining the cleanliness of the Palace by supervising the Housekeeping team during daily cleaning.
• Set the dining area and tables according to 7-star standards and norms. Cater for large parties and other such events and manage team of waiters to deliver exceptional quality of serving.
• Pay attention to the finest details of serving.
• Serve food and /Or beverages to principals and their guests; prepare & serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
• Take orders & serve food & beverages to principals/guests at tables.
• Provide fast, efficient and highly courteous services at all times.
• Responsible for performance of all waitresses. Coach them on on-going basis.
• Ensure the correct appearance of all of the dining and other food service areas.
• Ensure all waitresses are smartly presented at all times and that they comply with the company’s personal appearance and uniform standards.
• Immediately report to Executive Chef or Sous Chef in case of injury, wound, cuts, bites or any other illness/ disease no matter how small it may be.
• Supervise work of all cleaners and general housemaids.
• Prepare and implement cleaning schedule and assign duties to cleaners and other housekeeping staff.
• Inspect all areas of the house, except where restricted, and ensure that all cleaning is done according to task checklists, quality standards of cleanliness, and schedule.
• Take necessary action where required to regulate performance and quality.
• Lead by example and promote efficiency, integrity, courtesy& an extremely high standard of quality.
• Participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by the management.
• Evaluate staffs’ performance.
• Ensure that the standards required by Management are maintained at all times in the areas of work
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping stores. Ensure to store detergents and other chemicals according to MSDS.
• Comply with any requests made by management to the best of the ability. Seek help from management where needed.
• Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 6,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Education / Qualification
• Diploma/ Degree in hospitality or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

Work Experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with large and high profile household or in a luxury 5-star restaurant.
• Knowledge knowledge of various types of food, dishes and beverages.
• Skills Excellent English and Arabic communication.
• Able to work without supervision and managing a team of waitresses and housemaid, a butler experience is an advantage.

• Highly cool minded yet focused. Must have a pleasant disposition.
• Courteous and well-mannered personality.

• Must be well spoken & have neat & clean appearance.
