Facilities Management Regional Director

Job description / Role

My client is a leading international facilities management and support company covering the entire Middle East region for over 30 years. They are currently looking to strengthen their team and recruit a Regional Facilities Manager for the Middle East region. The role will be to oversee all operations of the company in the region including the strategic growth, P & L, operational management and delivery of all facilities management services delivered within the Middle East region.This includes overseeing and managing customer interfaces; ensuring a high profile and positive image for the business and the provision of a consistent high profile links with senior client management, and internal senior management, typically at director / board level. Key parts of the role will be;

- Development of a tactical and strategic plan for the development and growth of the business in the Middle East region.
- Active involvement in business development including tendering and bidding
- Draft annual budgets and business plans
- Preparation of monthly reports, forecasts, budgets, risk and opportunities
- Dealing effectively with any contractual issues
- Lead, recruit, develop and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner
- Drive implementation of best practices across contracts by establishing performance metrics that promote excellence and best practices

Requirements

- Candidates should preferably be degree qualified and should have some form of facilities management further education.
- A proven background in the facilities management industry is essential and experience in the Middle East market is preferred.
- Candidates should have deep understanding of FM techniques in a complex environment and should have experience of managing large P + L accounts including setting and delivering accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Candidates must have business development experience in the MENA region and should be familiar with the tendering and estimation process as well as being able to lead a large team of international staff.
