Job description / Role
Our client is a reputable International FM company seeking a Facilities Manager to join their Abu Dhabi based operation. They have a portfolio of blue chip clients and manage TFM (Hard and Soft) services across multiple property types across the region. The successful candidate will manage a team of blue collar workers delivering hard and soft services to an Industrial site in the western region of Abu Dhabi. Due to the remote location, the successful candidate will be expected to stay at the site in company provided accommodation, for the working week from Sunday to Thursday. Candidates should hail from a technical background and have managed the contract P&L previously. In addition, Candidates should have a sound knowledge of HSE, excellent written and spoken English and be able to communicate well, ensuring client satisfaction and development of the relationship. Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or building Services Engineering
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience in Facilities Management
- Experience and knowledge of P&L
- Experience in managing a blue collar team
- Previous experience in Middle East
