Synopsis

The Facilities Officer - Soft Services, is responsible for the day to day management of Soft Services operation and aesthetics of Etihad Airways Facilities in Abu Dhabi delivered by the Facilities Service Provider. This will involve supervising, monitoring and directing FM contractor's activities and liaising with the end users to ensure that all facilities are safe, fully operational and at the expected standards in line with the company's vision to be the world's best airline.

Accountabilities

- Stay on top of the condition of the building by conducting regular property audits and close relationships with the staff / stakeholders in each floor.
- Monitor performance of maintenance contractors and cleaning staff against agreed service level agreements (SLA's) and ensure that key performance indicators (KPI's) are met through auditing their performance against scheduled and reactive workorders
- Take on adhoc projects concerning facilities management and maintain existing facilities ensuring delivery as per agreed budgets, timelines and standards.
- Establish procedures for PPM (planned preventive maintenance) and ensure implementation of schedules.
- Maintain full and proper records and conduct preliminary analysis of work executed, work pending, materials ordered and consumed and feedback to the appropriate personnel in order that Facilities Management can accurately monitor its work against agreed departmental performance parameters. Ensure all invoices are submitted by the contractors for the service provided and check for accuracy in the billing as per work order issued.
- Develop and maintain a system for procuring and tracking all pantry consumables and/or any miscellaneous items related to the operation of the building.

Requirements

Education & Experience

- Minimum Diploma (2 years or more).
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant field.
