Fashion Internship - Retail/ Wholesale for British Brand in Dubai

We are a growing fashion brand with Dubai Retail and global Wholesale of our clothing around the world.

We are looking for a positive, bright and passionate person to join our team on an Internship program as a Fashion Assistant. You will be working with a proactive team who will help with your success and development, so you can gain great and fun experience.

It is a very fast paced role where you will be very busy, so being organized, professional dynamic, with good online & computer skills and a positive, happy, results focused and fun attitude will be essential.

• Salary: Unpaid work experience + 400 aed travel allowance per month
• Contract Period: March 2018 start date
• 3 – 6 months internship (can be extended if both are happy)
• Working Hours: 9am – 3pm Sunday to Thursday

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Retail

• Organising clothes/ stock for events
• Packing/ unpacking for events
• Stock checking
• Organising stock & maintaining best sellers
• Sorting hangers/ sizes
• Organising customer deliveries/ booking couriers
• Research other partners

Wholesale

• Organising new orders
• Liaising with wholesale production team and sorting orders
• Quality checking
• Spreadsheet management system for orders
• Contacting new stockists online and raising our profile
• Quotes from logistics companies & shipping/ duty rules
• UK company/ UAE distributor set up
• Quality control/ size guide for every item

Online

• Social media
• Updating website products
• Enhancing the website
• Handling partner website updates
• Instagram shop link
• Preferred companies, adding to website
• Grow to younger groups
• Research other partners ie Souq.com/ Namshi

Sourcing

• Looking for new lines to add to our collections
• Sourcing new products getting quotes

Requirements

• Must be in UAE now
• Available to start asap
• At least 1 years experience in Fashion/ studying it
• Good English
• Happy with an internship
• Positive, happy, good energy
• Passion for learning new things
• Hard working and enthusiastic
• Reliable
