FF&E Designer

Job description / Role

My client is an award winning international design practice with a long-standing reputation of delivering innovative designs. Having recently secured a number of projects and with the pipeline growing, we are looking to strengthen the design team to support their continued growth.

They are keen to appoint an FF&E Designer, considering Mid-Senior candidates to be based in Dubai and giving them the opportunity to work with their amazing client base.
We will consider candidates who are based outside the Middle East providing you meet the requirements.

Responsibilities (But not limited to):
• Attend coordination meetings with regards to all design matters/FF&E
• Develop concept designs based on client brief and prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and construction.
• Research, plan, design, and lead project teams to develop design solutions for interior projects.
• Ensure that the clients design is being delivered by the contractor and deal with onsite interior design snags that occur
• Address adjustments desired by the client.
• Assist with planning the project and junior designer work flow.
• Monitor train and supervise junior designers to provide good design and standard detailing.
• Deal with any desecrations related to Interior Design issues on site of Hotel.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in Interior Design/FF&E
• FF&E knowledge of the Hospitality/Hotel/Luxury Residential industry (Does not have to be limited to UAE)
• High attention to detail
• Creative thinker
• Strong communicator
• Ability to prioritise and simultaneously service multiple tasks.
• Previous experience of working on Middle East projects would be advantageous but not essential
