Field Desalination Engineer

Job description / Role

Field based Desalination Engineer required for an international privately owned chemical water treatment company. Single status appointment, residency shall be in the UAE with frequent periods based at client locations. You will be supporting field based trails for chemical water agents / products, liaising with end users, attending regular meetings, producing reports etc.

Competencies required - maturity, self-starter and confident communicator – English essential, spoken & written.

Flexible disposition essential to be based at client sites in different locations for 3-6 month periods.

Requirements

- Chemical engineering degree with 5 years’ experience in thermal desalination products and reverse osmosis;
- Previous experience of supporting field based trials for desalination (anti-scaling) products;
- Produced technical dosing and chemical reports for clients;
- Measure readings and analyse / present chemical test results;
- Experience of building relationships with stakeholders; liaising with operational, supervisory and / or power station utility managers
