Filmmaking Teacher/Instructor at Milkshake Film Club
Milkshake Media, an award-winning production company based in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and passionate course instructor with a degree in education, media, film, or related courses to join our team as a Filmmaking Teacher/Instructor.
In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to teach students aged 7-17 at our film club. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about filmmaking and production, possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, and is eager to contribute to the success of Milkshake film club.

Milkshake Film Club is our extracurricular program that brings the magic of film and cinematography to students in Dubai. Our program is designed to help students develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, and teamwork. We believe that film is a powerful tool for learning and growth, and we are committed to providing students with a high-quality learning experience.
Curriculum is provided, but you will have the creative freedom to develop your own lesson plans and activities to engage your students.
Responsibilities:
• Act as head instructor and teach in an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students during classroom activities, projects, and assignments.
• Help supervise students during camps, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
Time commitment:
• 1 hour per week for 10 weeks
• Starting at the beginning of January and concluding in March with one week off (12-16 February)
• Timings will start between 3-4 pm, duration 1 hour
• Same day and time each week
• Location: Schools based in Dubai

Salary:
AED
1,200
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Compensation: AED 1,200 for the 10-week course, paid monthly. AED 2,000 bonus upon completion of the 10-week course.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Passion for teaching, filmmaking, media, and production.
• Bachelor's degree in education, media/film or related fields preferred.
• Previous experience working with children and teenagers is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Keynote.
• Knowledge of video editing software, equipment, and basic graphic design (such as Canva) is a plus.
