Team Introduction: Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and insights, and management reporting. Position Summary: TikTok METAPSA is seeking a Finance BP who will be a key contributor to TikTok's continued success in the region. This role is based out of our Dubai office. The new hire will play an integral role in assisting with business decisions and partnering with key business functions such as the METAPSA Operations General Manager, Content Partnerships, Programming, Marketing, and Safety. The Finance BP will be joining a small hands-on team with great opportunities to grow and expand their role as the team grows, where they will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic initiatives for the METAPSA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support and Advisory: Provide strategic support and advice to finance and cross-functional leads.
- Financial Planning Process: Support the team in executing the Financial Planning process for key functions.
- Develop near-term and long-term budget plans, monitor budget consumption, conduct variance analyses, and update budgets/forecasts periodically.
- Monthly Closing and Reporting: Participate in monthly closing for management reporting. Organize business reviews and derive insights from financial and operational data.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Conduct financial performance analysis to drive revenue optimization and improve expense management. Provide recommendations and generate improvement proposals for implementation.
- Optimization Responsibility: Responsible for optimizing practices, policies, programs, procedures, and personnel activities.
- Business Unit Partnership: Partner with other business units, providing insightful and quality financial advice to support company objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong FP&A experience or equivalent work experience in the Technology, Content, Media, or Entertainment industry in the region. Track record of experience with complex financial planning and analysis.
- Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Prior experience in SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
