Job description / Role
Our client, a leading bank here in the region, are looking to recruit a Finance Manager with excellent business and financial planning exposure. Candidates should have strong accounting, management reporting and business planning skills.
Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for monthly financial performance analysis.
- Continuous cost monitoring.
- Responsible for the MIS/Reporting and providing variance analysis.
- Provide senior stakeholders with accurate monthly forecasts with both historical and current figures.
- Analysis of P&L and balance sheet trends.
- Responsible for providing detailed budget planning as well as acting as the single point of contact for all budget/forecast related issues.
- Work closely with the risk function of the bank.
- Business performance monitoring.
Requirements
The successful candidate should match the minimum requirements below:
- Currently working in a business/financial planning role with a bank.
- Approximately 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of a bachelor degree in finance or related.
- Candidates with a professional accounting qualification are preferred.
- Both local and overseas based candidates will be considered.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Business performance and management accounting exposure is essential for this role.
