Finance Controlling Manager

Job description / Role

Reporting Performance:
• Responsible for all the financial controlling of the business.
• You will have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and drive business success through your financial acumen and strategic insights with the reporting line of Group CFO.
• You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place and all relevant operational responsibilities are being met such as the preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, performance report, and cash flow forecasts.
• Lead the preparation of year-end annual accounts and manage the annual audit.
• Provide support to the Group CFO in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide support to the Group CFO with ad-hoc analysis and project work.
• Identify and implement business improvement opportunities.
• You will oversee and report on financial risk management and produce Monthly Information reports.
• Lead the continuous improvement of financial processes to facilitate business growth.
• Support new venture development as required.

Business Development:

Systems:
• Review and optimize the use of systems to improve efficiency.
• Ensure system integrity and compliance through internal audits.
• Manage the MS Dynamic NAV system.

Cost Accounting:
• Review and maintain cost accounting master data.
• Analyze cost information and identify cost and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Experience working at a finance manager or financial controller level, preferably in the travel or leisure sector.
• Cash-flow management experience
• Qualified (CIMA or ACCA) preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience in international markets desirable
• A willingness to be very hands on whilst also supporting with higher level strategic planning.
