Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Responsible for carrying out accurately and on timely basis finance related support services (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, preparation of various financial reports and requirements, management reports, etc) to various company departments and projects. Fund Accounting, reconciliations, NAV review, investor reporting, liaising with Banks, service providers, auditors, tax, legal and compliance.
• Covering all finance and accounting operations, accurate and timely processing and accurate posting to accounting system. This includes but is not limited to: Payroll, payments, invoices and receipts, fund accounting and internal/external reporting
• Reviewing month end closing entries and perform ledger reconciliations and checks
• Preparing weekly and monthly management reports, including but not limited to: IS, BS and CF on both entity and group levels
• Review of monthly NAV from the Fund Administrator, reconciliation, reporting to investors and management. Invoice management related to the Funds managed by the group entity
• Preparing annual budget and regular variance analysis
• Developing cash flow forecast and continuous cash flow forecast with regular variance analysis
• Liase with external auditor for group entities audit
• Participate in ad-hoc projects or reports as and when needed
• Acting as FM in the finance section
• Regularly need to make decisions in line with company objectives and policies
• Manage weekly finance meeting, allocating tasks to team members and efficient management of third party tasks (Banks, suppliers..)
• Regularly need to communicate upstream with Managing Partners and downstream with other team members. Also, communicate regularly with other departments for financial matters
• Regularly have to come up with efficient and innovative solutions to problems arising within the finance and admin departments
• Work with colleagues towards achieving each task objectives and ensuring deadlines are met

Requirements

• University Graduate
• Bachelors degree - Accounting
• Certified Management Accountant – CMA/ACCA
• Good communication skills
• Commercial awareness
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
• Problem solving
• Analytical thinking
