Our client is the one of the largest oil trader/ distributor with over 20 years of experience in the industry with an office based in Dubai. Due to solid growth and aggressive expansion plans across the region, they have recently restructured their finance team and are now looking for a Finance Director (CFO) to support the region and a leadership team.

Our client is one of the leading oil traders across Africa, headquartered in Dubai, UAE. They have a committed management team who are now looking to further expand their market share and operations, resulting in the creation of the Finance Director (CFO) position.
Description
Reporting to the Group CEO of the Company, the Finance Director (CFO) will have a regional focus and will be responsible to/for (but not limited to):
* Form a close working relationship with the Group CEO, General Managers of the different affiliates
* Provide leadership the company's Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position and taking overall control of company's accounting function
* Supporting the commercial team in bids, pricing and tenders for new business
* Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies
* Presentation of annual budgets and accounts to the board
* Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
* Management of company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposal and acquisition
* Manage the relationship with banks and internal and external auditors
Job Offer
The successful candidate for this role will be offered a competitive monthly salary, all-inclusive of basic, housing and transport allowances
Requirements
The successful candidate for this Finance Director (CFO) role will have
* A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.
* French speaking candidate will be preferred
* Candidates must possess a Professional Finance & Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
* Prior experience as Finance Manager or similar, leading a finance and accounting function
* Solid commercial/ business acumen is required as this role will support the subsidiaries at a business/ operational level is essential
* Knowledge of price and forex hedging is a plus
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
