Job description / Role
The Finance Director (FD) heads all divisional Finance & Controlling activities. He/she disciplinarily reports to the Group CFO and directionally to the Divisional Business Unit Leader. The FD is accountable for the compliance with financial regulations / rules, transparency and ongoing KPI measurements and drives pro-active to improve the division’s performance. As member of the Divisional Leadership Team, he/she significantly contributes to the development and implementation of the respective market’s strategy from a financial perspective.
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of respective plant Controllers as well a local finance team
- Development of budget and strategic planning for the division
- Close monitoring of the division’s performance vs budget, suggesting counter-initiatives when deviations
- Ensure Management reporting for all plant data and pricing transparency
- Driving cost & efficiency initiatives
- Ensure processes and systems are aligned with the global Finance systems to ensure consistent KPI reporting
- Develop and drive sales and production controlling and continuous KPI analysis
- Product calculations and their yearly integration in the group budget
- Support the Group in investment and M&A activities of the division and lead the finance integration during the PMI phase of newly acquired companies
Key Interfaces in the organization:
- Direct manager of plant controllers and the local finance team
- Coordination of Sales & Production controlling
- Main counterparts: CFO & sub-functions, Divisional leadership team as well as local General Managers
- Key part of the division’s management team and member of the top Finance Management Team.
Requirements
The profile includes the needed competencies, knowledge and experience in order to ensure, that the individual is able to achieve the goal of this position and to perform the job successfully.
Experience
- 10+ years of seniority
- 3-5 years experience in comparable finance role (multi-country responsibility)
- Manufacturing responsibility, having been min. 3 years in a plant finance role (e.g. as plant controller)
- Basic consulting experience a plus (e.g. as auditor)
- Management experience in Emerging markets
- Educational and work achievements needed to successfully perform job
- Production background/experience
- Experienced in divestment processes
- Worked in an international context with different cultures involved
- Advantage if experience with production factories/facilities in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The candidate will be compensated with an attractive package that corresponds the experience and responsibility on a local contract basis.
