Job description / Role
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
- Producing long-term business plans
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
- Managing budgets
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
- Supervising staff
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
Requirements
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, WITH 4+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company (preferably Oil & gas company). Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations and has experience in Oil & gas industry. Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management.
Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
