Job description / Role
A large family conglomerate with diversified businesses are currently looking out for a Finance Manager with a transportation background in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for managing the company's financial information and prepare accurate financial reports and statements to ensure accounting control.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage the financial reporting, general ledger and cash flow
* Assess and manage financial risks to the organisation
* Ensure regulatory compliance are met including VAT
* Assist with the implementation of ERP and have prior experience with it
* Assist the finance team with day to day bank requirements, timely collections and internal controls
* Proactive with inquiries from the Group CFO and managers regarding financial results, reporting and adhoc requests
* Work with the Group CFO to ensure clean and timely year-end audit
* Providing training to new and existing staff when required
Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position
* Must be CA/ACCA/CMA qualified along with MBA is a plus
* Should be from a transportation background
* Strong communication, planning and organising skills
