Job description / Role
Our client, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to be based in Dubai. Run more like a start-up, the structure presents opportunities and challenges to a finance professional. As a fast-growing business, they cannot rely anymore upon on their current junior finance staff member to provide the structure, expertise, consistency or visibility of the reporting information required.
At least one support person will be assigned to the function. The successful candidate will start with a blank sheet and will be expected to design and implement systems that will benefit the business in the short, medium and long term. The company currently provides business licensing, immigration and serviced offices. A land plot has been assigned, with construction to begin imminently, on offices, warehouses, residences and a hotel.
You will be responsible for the financial health of the organisation across two UAE locations (Dubai and Fujairah). You will produce financial reports and develop processes for the long-term financial goals of the organisation. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Research and analyse financial reports and market trends. Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Salary:
AED
25,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
* Professional degree in Accounting – CA/CFA is must
* At least 3 degrees in a similar role in Dubai
* Proven working experience as Finance / Accounts Manager
* Strong Analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Knowledge of Zoho CRM and Zoho Books accounting system will be added advantage
* Systems knowledge and familiarity
* Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
* Sound independent judgement
