Finance Manager

Job description / Role

Those with a finance degree and additional ACCA, CA or CPA qualifications are required for this traditional Finance Manager role working at group level and reporting directly into the CEO. With excellent communication skills you will be required to provide financial reporting and commentary to the Board and internal stakeholders in this busy and all-encompassing finance position.

You will have a strong grasp of IFRS protocols and oversee the day-to-day financial cycle including budget evaluation, planning and analysis and constant monitoring. The Finance Manager will prepare all reports and finances at group level including payroll, VAT returns and compliance up to year- end audit and develop the departmental skills to ensure that all cash flow and internal control are constantly monitored. You will also liaise with the Senior Team on a daily basis and be responsible for a team of four direct reports concerning both accounts payable and receivable. It is therefore essential that you have management experience as you will be expected to oversee the finance operation and set goals and objectives for each individual, continuing to motivate and upskill the team through leading by example.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be an experienced Finance Manager with relevant qualifications such as ACCA, CA or CPA and a minimum of 2 years of UAE financial exposure and 7 years overall finance acumen. You will be a critical thinker, able to analyse financial information down to the last detail and interpret this to those at C-suite level. With excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure tight controls and a motivated team, this role is a great opportunity for a determined and hard-working Finance professional.
