Position Title: Finance Manager
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 22K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus housing allowance and annual bonus

About the Client:
A Dubai based international shipping vessel agency servicing MENA and Europe.

Job Description:
• Immediately assist local offices with reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts including bank, intercompany, fixed assets, and assistance with FY23 year-end audits.
• Aid country finance managers in set-up and ongoing preparation of, cash flow forecasts and continually monitor the cash position across the region.
• Justify transfer of funds from Head Office to bridge any in-country working capital gaps.
• Liaise with external counsel and professional advisory firms to understand developing legal, tax and other changes that impact OBT.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in the region in accordance with local standards (GAAP, OHADA and IFRS).

Salary:
AED 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Open to Arabic and Asian nationals
• Male, 25 to 40 years old
• Candidates must possess a broad finance background, including experience in preparing, compiling, and reviewing management accounts
• Familiarity with both IFRS and OHADA accounting frameworks is required
• Experience working in finance roles on the African continent is highly desirable
• Must be fluent in English (written & spoken)
