Employment: Full Time

Our UK client has seen strong organic growth throughout the last 10 years and is now seeking to add to their Dubai managerial team. Reporting to the leadership team you will liaise with counterparts in London as you take full responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business across the MENA region. You will be a key interface in establishing effective financial processes to support the business as it continues to grow.

The Finance Manager will manage and perform all aspects of the finance function from data entry at the base level through to financial reporting, ensuring accuracy of data throughout. This will include accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, payroll, bank reconciliation and FX management, in full compliance with statutory reporting. The role will work closely with the Financial Controller in the UK ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Board and senior C-Suite team.

The role will be heavily involved in the budget and forecast plans for the year-on-year strategic growth the company has set itself, managing project budgets, and forecasting future cashflows. Additionally, there will be supplier relationship management, negotiating new contracts and assistance to the company auditors. This will involve full communication related to monthly payroll filing, tax filing and balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with a professional qualification in finance and /or business administration and 3+years proven experience within small – mid size scale business at a specialist / managerial level. Candidates must have demonstrated experience within the Middle East. A strong understanding of tax in the MENA is required as well accounting best practice and knowledge of accounting software, with Xero experience advantageous.
