Finance Manager (Financial Planning & Analysis )

Job description / Role

• Lead the company-wide financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring the highest level of rigor and consistency in the budgeting process in alignment with the objectives and strategy of the company.
• Manage reports and analysis of Planning & Budgeting information and provide inputs for the development of KPIs for the overall Finance and Accounting function
• Develop the budget templates, budgeting policies and procedures, and budget calendar and communicate requirements across the company
• Manage preparation and approval of the annual budgets of the company, driving consistency and rigor in the overall financial budgeting process of each business unit in alignment with the overall strategic objectives of the company
• Oversee preparation and distribution of regular financial analysis and reporting on budget variances, helping identify key issues and potential corrective action.
• Develop and evaluate detailed financial models and sensitivity analyses related to prospective projects, investments, or M&A opportunities.
• Coordinate the collection of reasonable inputs and assumptions for financial models through internal and external sources
• Lead Management Reporting processes by reviewing management reports, monitoring progress against budget and carrying out monthly/quarterly reviews
• Oversee the account consolidation process from all BUs, including budget roll-ups at each stage and the final corporate consolidation and roll-up
• Drive rigorous analysis of company-wide financial performance, and provide relevant reports and recommendations to the relevant Department Heads
• Drive effective coordination with the IT Department to ensure the integrity, completeness and accuracy of financial data provided for reporting purposes; and Liaise with IT department to identify needs for reporting and configuration, installation and enhancement of systems to ensure that the functionality of the system is in line with the needs of the company.

Requirements

• Minimum BA degree in Accounting / Finance
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CA is a must
• Minimum 8 years post grad experience
• Recent experience within a manufacturing / FMCG environment
• Strong ERP knowledge (SAP is essential)
• GCC experience is essential
