The Company

Robert Half are working with an organisation who are dedicated to investing in and partnering with Africa-focused enterprises, startups, and accelerators to promote the development of socially impactful solutions on third-generation, environmentally sustainable blockchain.

The Role

* Preparing budget plan, financial forecasts, and financial statements, and conducting regular analysis and evaluation of the actual performance against plan for group companies
* Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff and others inside and outside the company
* Extensively engaged in cost optimization assignment for the company
* Assisting in the development of investment plans and execution of investment
* Managing digital asset and managing relevant OTC liquidation with third party organizations
* Supervising group company's Finance & Accounts department
* Leading audits with external audit firms as needed.
* Managing and overseeing tax affairs of Emurgo Africa and its affiliate entities and liaising with external tax specialists for advice 9. Overseeing and reviewing reporting, regulatory filing and tax filings prepared by the accountants

Requirements

The Candidate

* Minimum of 5 years of Supervisory/Managerial Level in finance related responsibilities; International exposure would be an advantage;
* Knowledge of international standard accounting procedures. CPA is a strong advantage
* Experience consolidating financials from different entities under one holding company

Salary and Benefits

AED 21,000 a month
