Based in Dubai and part of a global executive search group, we are seeking a Financial Accountant for our client. The organisation is keen to further streamline its processes to ensure maximum profitability and therefore this is a new role, where the Accountant will be the sole point of contact for all finance matters. Established for 30 years, our client is one of the most sought out executive search organisations in the world, with a presence in over 50 countries. They take immense pride in having an extensive global network and are a firm presence in the region with their depth of local experience in the executive search market.
This particular finance role will encompass a large volume of analysis across 4 offices based in the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. The analysis required will concern P&L reporting and monitoring, cash flow, budget planning, cost control and the management of all payroll for the 4 offices. As this is a new role, where formally invoice management and aged debt has been chased by the individual Recruitment Consultants, our client is extremely keen to recruit a capable individual into a centralised finance role, handling all matters. This will include day to day finance processes, use of Quickbooks, internal and external queries, billing and AR/AP frameworks to increase efficiencies, profitability and share best practices. Reporting directly into the General Manager, with a dotted line into 2 additional members of the Senior Management Team, the preferred candidate will posses strong finance acumen to have information at their fingertips when requested and provide innovative solutions. You will also be forward thinking within this fast paced and ever-changing executive recruitment sector. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to building strong relationships with Senior Management, Recruitment Consultants and their clients to further ensure that the company’s strong reputation for quality and service to all remains consistent. Consequently, you will very much represent the organisation for all financial capabilities.
Those selected for interview will have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a similar financial capacity and therefore you should possess relevant financial qualifications such as ACCA, CMA or equivalent. You will be a strong communicator in the English language and highly organised, with an analytical approach to ensure all deadlines are met. This a fantastic role within a very supportive and fast paced environment and would best suit those from a similar background where the individual has been the sole central point of contact.
