Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst based in Dubai, UAE. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting, providing planning and budgeting financial information and financial support to senior management within G4S to support performance assessment and audit management.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
• Ownership on the balance sheet reconciliation for completeness and accuracy
• Ownership of provisions and accruals accounts
• Liaising with Shared Service Centre and review inputs received
• Managing the external and internal audit requirements
• Preparation of statutory financial statements
• Support on VAT implementation and conduct of internal trainings
• Support on process assessment and controls implementations
• Liaising with other departments for financial inputs
• Research and recommend programs, policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the GL function, including workflows, internal controls.
• Regular reporting and analysis to senior managers in the business
• Ad-hoc duties to support the business
Requirements
• Must be a qualified accountant i.e. ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in similar position
• Proficient in MS Office package, especially MS Excel.
• Experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written
