Financial Analyst / Accountant

Job description / Role

A leading company in the UAE has an opening to fill Financial Analyst / Accountant position.

The job will cover the following duties which are not limited to:
- Coordinating with the countries in the Asia Pacific Region, as well as Manage Accounts as and when required.
- Supporting Management by analyzing the budget verses actual comparisons on the finance system.
- Monitoring the day to day cash flow and ensuring proper review of fund requirements in the Asia Pacific Region.
- Supporting and maintaining books for Asia Pacific Region and reviewing the two steps consolidation.
- Analyzing and verifying the fund requirements of all entities.
- Maintaining a calendar for insurance (credit, marine, product liability, property and assets) and ensuring a timely follow- up with the countries.
- Coordinating with external and internal auditors for stand-alone and two step consolidation and providing the required financial data as and when required.

Requirements

- Must hold an Accountancy Qualification (CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and/or related discipline
- Must have minimum 2 years’ experience working as a financial analyst
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
