Financial Controller

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a multinational consultancy business with headquarters in the UK. Our client is looking to hire a Financial Controller for their Dubai office.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager and Group Financial Controller, you will be in charge of regional finances and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your main responsibilities will include providing constructive financial and operational reporting as well as management information. You will also prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. You will be involved in budgeting and forecasting as well as ad hoc variance analysis.

In addition, you will maintain general bookkeeping standards for the region and manage payroll and credit control activities. As part of this role, you will also manage a small team of 2 Accountants in the region.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in finance or accounting and ideally hold a Chartered Accountancy qualification. Experience in a similar role working within a multinational environment will be highly advantageous for this role.
