Job description / Role
• Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
• High-level financial reporting and analysis
• Regular budget consolidation
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Cash flow management
• Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
• Stakeholder management
• Debt management and collection
• Preparing company taxes
• Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
• Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
• Payroll processing
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
• Business plans and analysis
• Well-developed leadership skills
• Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements
Relevant qualifications are in the fields of:
• Finance or Economics
• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Business Law
In addition to Bachelor or Masters level degrees, CPA (Certified Practising Accountants) or CA (Chartered Accountants)
Ideal candidates should also be members of or connected to recognized professional associations such as the Finance and Treasury Association, Australian Bankers Association or FINSIA.
