Job Description

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A)

The analyst will join the Financial Planning and Analysis department.

General

The FP&A Analyst will develop analysis and interpretation of financial data and communicate this by providing clear data and analytics stories. This include analysis of the P&L accounts, Key Business Indicators, Key Performance Indicators, HMA compliance calculation, the review and analysis of the monthly closing and performance analysis reports. This strategic role provides management visibility on the performance to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies. The FP&A Analyst will also support the annual budget and the rolling forecasts. The objective is to support business executives and departmental leaders in making strategic, data-driven decisions.

Missions & Key Responsibilities

- Active participation to monthly closing, annual budget, reporting and performance analysis, design and implementation of new smart tools, improvement of internal process
- Production of monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting package
- Production of the management information system: dashboards, charts and KPIs analysis to monitor the business unit financial & operational performance
- Active participation to budgeting/forecasting process and implement related data collection / consolidation tools
- Guarantees information accuracy at any stage of any operating cycles
- Produce relevant business performance analysis with qualitative comments to provide guidance to all stakeholders

Skills & Requirements:

- Highly responsible and able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form : need to be able to clearly communicate sensitive information, to facilitate smooth interaction and efficient execution of collaborative duties
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable working in a collaborative setting and with senior leadership, be self-motivated requiring minimal supervision, be proactive, be a creative strategic and independent thinker, have superior problem-solving skills, have an ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight-deadlines, have a positive can-do attitude, and demonstrate calmness and composure in times of uncertainty and stress

Qualifications

- Perfect knowledge of Microsoft Pack Office / Strong Excel - VBA is a plus
- Knowledge in business intelligence software is a plus (OneStream and Tableau analysis services, or any other data visualization tools).
- Major in Corporate Finance
- Previous experience in Corporate Finance/ Management Control/ Audit firm/ Hospitality would be appreciated
- Fluent English is compulsory
- Hard worker and team player, the candidate shall be able to cope with a versatile environment
- Skills in analytical thinking & thorough understanding of MIS/Reporting IT Systems
- Pragmatic problem solver & good team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with deadlines and under pressure
