The Company

Robert Half are working with a multinational engineering business in order to find a strong FP&A Manager.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

* Work with business heads and local finance teams to build.
* their annual budgets
* periodic financial forecasts
* Long term financial plans and lookahead
* Help develop and monitor appropriate KPI's for financial performance
* Build financial models
* Produce analysis and commentary on business performance and results
* Identify and understand business challenges, propose and work on solutions
* Prepare financial business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
* Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
* Perform work on special projects
* Support the implementation of business intelligence tool

Requirements

The Candidate

Specific Knowledge

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Relevant industry experience (project or contracts type business)
* Has prepared budgets / forecasts for multiple business units and legal entities, across multiple geographies and currencies.
* Strong commercial understanding
* Relevant professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CGMA)
* Bachelors degree.
* Significant analytical skills
* Able to solve complex problems
* Expert in Excel modelling
* Expert in preparing executive level presentations and reports
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
* Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
* Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
* Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
