Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Define, develop and recommend overall Group financial models and methods of assessing and measuring corporate performance
- Implement budget and forecast preparation schedule by collecting relevant business data and projections from all departments and provide relevant analyses and feedback to enable finalization of the budget and forecast proposals and all related reports including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements etc
- Be main key point of contact for the entire Business for periodic project reporting, Budgets and Forecast update
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and data and ensure these are accurate and submitted on time.
- Report and analyse IT projects investment and annual running costs
- Work out feasibility study of new location / business and provide timely information for taking effective decisions
- Maintain an effective involvement and understanding of the business in order to contribute to key business decisions within the Company through financial advice and expertise.
- Responsible for various financial management functions such as participation in contract negotiations, review of terms and conditions of contracts, feasibility studies & investment analysis.
- Ensure effective implementation of the computerised Finance system in Finance function and utilise the system to its maximum potential to generate quality reports, data and decision-inputs

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required and MBA is desirable
- CI, CIMA or ACCA qualified

Experience:
- Experience in a similar role with a multinational company
- Proven track record in Finance with 4- 5+ years of postgraduate experience
- Manufactoring/Construction/FMCG Industry experience
- Experience in managing Budget/Forecast and developing financial systems and reporting
- Experience in evaluating and implementing ERP system

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills with adequate interpretation and presentation capabilities
- Detail oriented with ability to see a big picture
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong initiative skills and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Flexibility to travel across GCC countries
