Financial Reporting Associate (Investments)

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working in partnership with a leading investment manager who is looking to hire an experienced Associate of Financial Reporting into their investment reporting team. This role sits centrally within their performance and reporting team and covers multiple asset classes across a number of funds.

As an Associate of Financial Reporting, this role will be responsible for coverage of reporting duties and standards across multiple funds covered by the asset manager. This role will cover multiple duties across weekly cash flow, fund performance, trade capture, reconciliations and process improvement.

Aside from BAU related activities, this Associate will also have the opportunity to take ownership of new system and process improvement as well as help to drive reporting ease and increase internal and external data.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 3+ years post qualified experience. Preference will be given to candidates who are trained in audit at the Big4 and industry experience within a Tier1 institution across either the buy or sell side.

The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes and accounting standards associated with these.
