Job description / Role
- Supervise and coordinate fire fighting and fire alarm activities on site
- Inspect fire safety equipment and systems regularly to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Train and mentor team members on fire safety protocols and procedures
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and lead firefighting efforts
- Maintain accurate records of fire incidents and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in fire safety
- Manage inventory of firefighting equipment and supplies
- Provide timely reports and updates to management on fire safety measures and incidents
Requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / Technical Trade certificate in Electrical /Electronics or Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience in fire fighting and fire alarm supervision
- Strong technical skills in operating fire safety equipment and systems
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Physical fitness and agility to perform firefighting duties
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations
