Fire & Life Safety Consultant

Job description / Role

A truly international consultancy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire & Life Safety Consultant to join their expanding team in Dubai.

This broad and all-encompassing role will involve project leadership, team leadership and business growth and development.

You will be responsible for:
- Team development, leadership and implementation of the Business Unit Strategy.
- Reviewing designs, auditing and inspections to ensure Health &Safety.
- The development of client relationships through active involvement in external market profile raising activities and functions.
- Ensuring design and technical innovation and excellence throughout the team and ensuring projects are delivered to the
highest international standards.
- Responsible for team supervision to minimise major risk and secure the best profit from the project.

Requirements

The successful individual will have a degree in Engineering with 10+ of professional experience including experience of work in the Middle East. You should be a member of the Professional body such as MIFireE, SFPE or NFPA and preferably be a Chartered Engineer. Microsoft Office skills as well as experience of technical design and associated discipline software as well as expertise in expertise in UNFPA, IBC, British Standard & Performance Based Design codes are essential.

This role would suit a Client Facing and ambitious Senior Fire & Life Safety Consultant with a previous project and team leadership experience.
