Job description / Role
Firefighting Engineer (Design) Engineer Up To 25k Aed For A Construction And Engineering Company
- Open to any nationality
- Male, 40 years old and below
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Protection or Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience from the date of qualification in design and engineering office as fire protection and design engineer, preferably w/ ARAMCO experience
- Well verse with related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards, including International Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
Requirements
- Professional Engineering certification in Fire Protection or advanced degree in highly desirable but not required
- Experience in the design of oil and gas facilities with a focus on the design of firewater systems, emergency shutdown systems, fireproofing, gas detection, electrical classifications, pipeline design factors, tank design, and plant layout
- Can develop or apply Engineering Standards related to safety and fire prevention in hydrocarbon and petrochemical facility design (e.g., NFPA, API)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Can start immediately (1-month max)
- Working hours: 8 hours/day
- Work location: UAE
- Salary is up to 25,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications
