Fostering the health and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and Colleagues is an integral part of our Fairmont Hotels & Resorts culture. As a Fitness Instructor, your warm service and knowledge of all our Health Club facility has to offer will support our guests and members in their commitment to healthy living

What you will be doing:
- Welcome guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience
- Demonstrate how to carry out various exercises and routines and g ive clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
- Maintain the weight and cardiovascular fitness areas; ensuring equipment is clean, functioning properly and used according to the guidelines of the facility
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
