My client is Dubai's fastest growing e-marketing agency, offering relationship-marketing services that include strategy, online media planning and buying, creative and web development and customised back end solutions, database building, results analysis, and full campaign management using its in-house measurement and reporting platform.


Description

The Flash Developer is a web developer with a focus on Flash animation and development, whose primary role is to code & animate the artwork provided by the Art Directors. An integral member of the Design team, the Flash Developer is the final link between the Designers and the back-end programmers-- implementing advanced front end Flash for Organisation's online and CD based projects.

The Flash Developer position is a mid-level position in the Organisation's structure - where the employee has the opportunity to gain familiarity with Organisation's clients, processes and design style, while honing his or her skills and toolset for later promotion to Senior Flash Developer, usually within 1 year.

As such, it is important for the Flash Developer to continue to explore new technologies and design techniques while performing his or her daily duties.

Tasks

Prepare graphics for Flash integration.
Implement Flash animation based on design files and story boards provided by the Designers;
Provide Advanced Flash scripting (ActionScript) to add functionality to Flash assets provided by the Designers (games, advanced interactive functions, etc);
Develop Flash projects in a logical manner for maximized optimization and easy cross integration with back end systems.
Upload prepared graphics, Flash or other web assets to the web server;
Work with Designers, Programmers and Account Executives to provide feedback and advice on layout and functionality feasibility.
Responsibilities

Prepare all materials based on Art Director requirements;
Work with Programmers to integrate front and back end code;
Deliver all materials according to set deadlines;

Requirements

Requirements

Competent in Flash animation and ActionScript;
Advanced Flash Scripting a must
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, DreamWeaver,
Ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deliver all materials according to set deadlines;
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English a must.
Arabic language a plus;
ability to code HTML, DHTML, seen as a big advantage
Demonstrated ability to render provided artwork in Flash as provided, with minimal design changes;
