Description
What You'll Do - Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve.
• Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by oracle/customer within the planned schedule. He/she must use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet the quality expectations of Oracle/client.
• Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for oracle/customer.
• Coordinate with offshore team for various technical deliverables including customizations and support teams for patches, and fixes.
• Adhere to the defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer. Comply with oracle/customer audit/compliance requirements.
• Ensure quality code delivery.
• Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
• Timely status reporting to supervisor.
• Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers
Required Skills/Experience
Primary Skills:
• Functional Solution Architecture for core banking solution, knowledge on Current and Savings Accounts, Teller operations, Islamic banking functionality, Local and foreign Payments, Lending
• Understanding of Retail and Corporate Lending, Retail and Corporate Deposits.
• Contributions in Demos, Solution fitment and alternative solutions etc.
• Overall experience of 12-18 years in the Banking Domain
• Good communications skills are a MUST.
Requirements
Secondary Skills:
• Market knowledge of equivalent products
• Extensive Prior Implementation Experience
• Industry standard certifications on business domains such as certified financials or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
Personal Attributes:
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a MUST and knowledge of French would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ready to travel for short or long term
Mashreq IBG India is part of multiple projects Oracle has with Mashreq group. Successful completion of this implementation would open up a few more opportunities. Oracle has already implemented Flexcube core banking in its UAE entities and now looking at other entities including oversees. Annual revenues from this account is approx. 10-12 M USD. This project requires key functional resources who understand Core banking, who have good communication and consulting skills.
