FMCG Trade Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered:
8 – 10 years’ experience in FMCG trade marketing with experience of developing, implementing and executing FMCG trade strategies based on a deep understanding and analysis of the UAE / GCC FMCG and HORECA markets.
Bachelor’s Degree
Currently living in the UAE and has a UAE driving license.

Client Profile
Our client is a locally owned diversified national organisation and we are recruiting an experienced FMCG trade marketing manager for a newly created role that will develop, implement and manage an innovation centre to build expert knowledge for key category brands to enhance principal effectiveness, strengthen partnerships and increase the gross margin through improved product mix, prices and trade promotional activities.

The Role
• Develop and implement trade, brand and client 4P strategies and manage the brand assortment, product portfolio, brand positioning and prices and participate in the RFP process for relevant pricing and product mix.
• Liaise with principals, HORECA chefs and internal sales team to educate them on the diverse F&B categories available.
• Create an annual online and offline marketing strategy, plans, promotions and industry events to reach the targeted audience including strategic planning for events such as Gulfood.
• Conduct regular market analysis to provide meaningful data to enhance business performance and provide pre and post promotional trade spending ROI analysis.
• Recruit and manage a team of brand and category managers and executives and work closely with the sales, business development and account management teams

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience Required
• 8 – 10 years’ experience in FMCG trade marketing with experience of developing, implementing and executing FMCG trade strategies based on a deep understanding and analysis of the UAE / GCC FMCG and HORECA markets.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen focusing on product forecasting, ROI, gross margins and 4P analysis.
• Ability to increase innovation and commercialization through awareness building presentations and activities.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory

• Currently living in the UAE
• Fluent in English – must be able to speak, write and read English fluently.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
