Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An exciting opportunity as FP&A and Reporting Analyst with a fast growing organisation in Abu Dhabi within the Aviation and Aerospace industry. Client is looking for an experienced FP&A professional who can develop processes and procedures. You will be involved in management discussions, prepare budget related presentations and graphical analysis, prepare and revise business plans and be involved extensively in feasibility studies for new projects, investment or joint ventures.

* Initiate and lead budget discussions at all stages, prepare and update budget progress schedules for controlling, reporting and follow up at all stages
* Identify budget drivers, assumptions and sources of information to be used in building the budget and design the budget model
* Summarise the final position and prepare relevant presentations for discussions with management and executives
* Communicate budget calculations, assumptions and initiatives to the operations
* Participating in a wide variety of financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and planning activities weekly reporting, monthly reporting & analysis, quarterly forecasting & annual budgeting
* Preparing Board Pack, Business Review/Dashboard slides and various other MIS reporting
* Strong financial and management accounting skills to support the divisional controllers on month end activities & consolidation reporting
* Assisting with ad-hoc supplemental, routine financial analysis and presentation materials
* Prepare feasibility studies, business plans and financial models for new projects/ customer pricing and capex with analysis of capital, profitability and cash flow
* Develop an Excel based business models for different business scenarios
* Gather and consolidate data relevant to new capabilities/ projects and create feasibility analysis
* Analyse financial and non-financial data, prepare executive summaries and presentations required for executives' discussions
* Assist in the implementation of the business intelligence module and the development of the relevant reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis

Requirements

* At least five (5) years in a similar position and excellent in preparing analytical reports and financial modelling using Excel, Business intelligence and data querying tools.
* Good standard in preparing and demonstrating presentation to management and executives.
* Exposure to aviation industry is highly preferred
* Great interpersonal skills, can interact effectively with people.
* Good communication and language skills
* Lead budgeting & business planning process. Support strategic projects/business cases
* Ability to handle concurrent priorities in a fast paced environment
* Highly analytical - quantitative and qualitative
* Previous "big 4" experience preferable; not mandatory
